At The Park you are going to find a community of people from all walks of life. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and meet new friends.
We are a community that lives to serve. We make serving God a priority and we serve those He loves. Through quality worship, small groups and serving opportunities, we put action to our words of faith. We believe that’s what God wants – not our words alone but our actions because of what we believe.
The Park United Methodist Church is not your ordinary church. Come at 8:15 a.m. for a worship with the traditional trappings like hymns or 10 a.m. for a band-led worship. You can get dressed up or come in casual clothes to either worship. It’s not what we wear but who we are that matters most.
What to expect when you first show up…
Grab a cup of coffee or tea. There is water and juice as well. And you can bring it into the worship space with you.
We have a nursery with professional care givers. We offer Sunday School for ages 4 through 6th grade. You will find a simple sign-in and check-out process for everyone’s safety located right in the lobby.
What to expect in worship…
Great music, heart-warming praying and practical messages from the Bible – messages that you can apply to your everyday life. Stand, sit, clap, raise your hands – it’s worship that means something to your heart. It’s a safe place to be you. Our Pastor, Jeff Raker, wears jeans and a polo or sweater, often sitting, sometimes walking as we consider together what God wants for our lives.
All in all, what you will find is a great worship experience, relaxed atmosphere, and people just like you looking to take that next step on their journey towards growing closer to God.
What is The Park all about?
We are all about connecting to a God who is crazy in love with us!
We make this connection through fantastic contemporary worship, spiritual growth groups, and loads of opportunities to put our faith into action by serving our community.
We are a church where everyone becomes family, where your family will easily fit in, and you can grow closer to Christ.
